Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz

Synopsis:

The year is After Colony 196, it is Christmas time and Relena has been kidnapped by a group of revolutionaries that are bent on being independent from the earth. The Gundam's have been sent to the sun to be destroyed. Heero and Duo now decide to go off on yet another adventure to save Relena, while Quatre tries to save the Gundams from certain destruction. We eventually learn that Marymaya a young girl no more then 9 is in fact Trieze's daughter who is bent on getting revenge for her father and giving everyone her Christmas present in the form of a Revolution. Heero and Duo eventually make it to the base of operations were they encounter Trowa and Wu Fei who apparently jumped ship to the side of Marymaya. A battle now erupts between the former Gundam Pilots and all hell breaks loose. Elsewhere at the same time a pilot by the code name Wind is off to prevent a revolution from happening this is none other then Zechs.

Eventually the battle is considered a draw and we learn that Trowa was only acting and that Wu Fei was serious about his joining the enemy. So now after a brief moment of action we learn that this was a diversion and the real forces are now on earth beginning their revolution. Once again the Gundam Pilots must rise to the occasion to save earth and their love ones. The final Chapter in the Gundam Wing saga is about to begin where the harsh reality of War finally comes to pass. War is nothing more then an Endless Waltz!

Review:

Finally some closure to the Gundam Wing story, overall this movie is highly entertaining. The plot is great and we finally get to see what happened to Zechs and find out the true origin of where all the five Gundam pilots came from and what the true objective of Operation Meteor is. The soundtrack is an original score and compliments the movie very well. The main theme White Reflection is by far the best of the Gundam Wing songs. The animation quality for this film is absolutely top notch, and the Gundam's even get an upgrade to their custom versions that look very cool. Overall this is a great film that does a better job then Char's Counterattack at bringing closure to a Gundam series. This is a must see for Gundam fans and I highly recommend it!
