The Return of Voltron!

The Pulse has an article about the upcoming return of Voltron. Except this time in a North American comic book format by Devil's Due Publishing in conjunction with Image.

Tenchi Ova 3 trailer goes online!

The trailer for the new (3rd) Tenchi OAV series is one of many new additions to the Tenchi Web website. To view the trailer Click Here you'll have to do some searching but just look for a button that says Ova on it. Its not to hard to find. In other Tenchi related news Tenchi GXP is about to release the 5 volume of GXP on dvd in Japan. The projected date for that release is November 21st!

DBGT apparently picked up by Funimation?

ANN has confirmed with FUNimation that they will be releasing a $1.99 Fruit Basket preview disk that will contain the first 2 episodes of Fruits Basket and a preview of DBGT. The DBGT preview includes no English dub as dubbing on the series has not yet started.

Yugioh out sells baseball cards?

An article published in Tuesday's New York Times states that sales of the Yu-Gi-Oh! CCG hit $17 million in the second quarter of 2002, making the CCG Upper Deck's largest product line, outselling even its baseball cards

Macross Zero release date delayed to December!

Well as some of you may already now the newest installment of Macross has been pushed back from an October 21st release date in Japan till December 21. The delay apparently was blame on production issues. Macross Zero is set to be a Five part Ova series, very little information is known about this series. Rumor has it that the show may take place during the period before the Macross was rebuilt meaning that we may see the adventures of Roy Folker. Another rumor circulating is that it will be a totally new story.

Inu Yasha airing on Adult Swim!

Well the rumor going around was that Inu Yasha was infact coming to Adult Swim, well this rumor I heard on a message board, after looking it up it has now officially been confirmed now that Inu Yasha will be airing on Adult Swim starting on August 31st.

Ghost in the Shell TV Series

Well this was another thing going around the rumor bin and thankfully the Anime Expo press session confirmed that yes there is a Ghost in the Shell TV series and it will be coming to the Adult Swim line up some time this fall. I'll keep you posted on this.

Gundam Seed

Gundam Fans rejoice, a new gundam show is set to air later in this year in Japan entitled Gundam Seed. Gundam Seed is another series that will be set in an alternate universe and does not follow the UC timeline. Gundam Seed is expected to start airing in Japan on October 5th. So as always I will keep you posted on that story as it developes.

Digimon Season 4 not on fox?

Well with the recent merging of Fox Kids to Fox Box, Digimon Season 4 and Medabots was dropped. Fortunately for those who have ABC Family on their cable companies they will be able to see Digimon Season 4 and Medabots on the ABC Family channel. *Update* Currently Digimon Season 4 can be seen also on UPN affiliate stations.

Fox Box line up

For those of you who read the previous news article, fox kids has merged with Fox box. The Fox Box lineup will feature animes such as Muscle Man Kunnakum, Fighting Foodons, Kirby the anime, and Ultraman Tiga for all you Kaiju fans out there. Personally this is Foxs' worse cartoon line up to date in my opinion.

Transformers Armada

For those Transformer fans out there, the next installment in the Auto Bots and Decepticons war is currently airing on Toonami Fridays, and Saturdays called Transformers Armada. So far they are reshowing the movie just broken down into three parts. However if you haven't seen the show yet I suggest you do, it has that old school Transformers feel to it!

Yugioh Season 3 aka Season 2

Well for those of you following Yugioh most know that WB and 4 Kids started out showing Yugioh in its second season and left out 26 episodes. Well the Third Season in Japan aka Season 2 in America has started airing recently on WB Saturdays. Well right now the next episode will be the one right after the dugeon dice sage leading up to Malik's arrival.
