Gundam Wing

Gundam wing is another spawn off the gundam franchise. In this story the year is after colony 195 the earth has pissed of the space colonies starting wars between the two factions. So the colonies decide to send 5 Gundam pilots down to earth to stop the main organization behind the hostilities between the earth and the colonies. Each Gundam in this series has a different look from the original Gundam designs. These Gundams are much more powerful than the rx78s that us original gundam fans are use to. There are five main characters in gundam wing the pilots of course. Heero, is the most professional of the group and is willing to sacrafice not only his gundam but also his life in order to get his mission accomplished. Duo Maxwell is your classic cowboy, of the group who like Heero acts like a professional but also has the joker type personality attitude in him.

Next is Trowa Barton who while on earth becomes a circus act in which he dodges knives. After that is Quatra who is the wussy of the group he unlike the rest does not really like to fight but only does it so others will be able to live in Peace. Oh and by the way Quatra is extremely rich even though he never really flaunts his wealth till later in the show. Finally the last Gundam pilot is Wuu Fai Chan who is the oriental of the group, he fights with the honor of all the martial artist before him and has a complex for fighting weaker people then himself. So that's the good guy side now comes the villain's side. OZ is the main group the gundams target while on earth, which is lead by Treaze Kushrinada; this guy is a major power among the aristocratic societies. Next is his right hand woman and officer Lady Un who later in the series has a case of Multiple Personalities. Last but not least is Zech Marquise who is the self proclaimed lighting Count of OZ. He develops an obsession to try and beat the person who bested him Heero. So if you have seen some of the original Gundam series and looking for another great one to watch I highly recommend Gundam Wing on the top of the list. This anime has what every mecha fan loves. Which are drama, love, violence, deep story line, and political issues. Originally you could catch Gundam Wing on the Cartoon Network at 6:00pm during the weekdays but unfortunately stupid toonami has pulled it from its line up. So I recommend that you go to your nearest anime retailer or bootlegger and ask for Gundam Wing it will not disappoint you I promise.
