Tenchi Universe Episode Sums

Episode 1:

A chase and battle occurs in space between Ryoko and Mishoshi. A yong boy by the name of Tenchi Masaki notices a plane crashing towards earth. He goes to check out if everyone is ok. However comes across Ryoko who begs Tenchi to save her from the space pirate. As soon as that is said a giant mech comes form out of the bushes to chase Ryoko and Tenchi however they eventually managed to escape. Later on Ryoko tells this beautifully constructed story of how that evil space pirate is after her. Tenchi's Dad and Grandpa decide that it would be best if Ryoko stays with them. Later on the Mech comes back and another chase ensues, Grandfather comes to Tenchi and Ryoko's rescue. We soon learn that Mihoshi is really a galaxy police and Ryoko is the space pirate. Ryoko starts to attack until Tenchi stands his ground. She stops saying she was only joking around, the next morning it is decided that the two girls will infact stay in Tenchi's house for the time being. What is a guy like Tenchi suppose to do with two women around the house.

Episode 2:

In this episode the Jurian Princess named Ayeka has come to earth to rescue Mihoshi who sent out a distress signal. However it is soon discovered that Ryoko and Ayeka have a long running fued with each other since childhood. A battle between the two girls insues via spaceship warfare. By the end of this episode we have 3 girls now staying with Tenchi the newest addition in the house is of course Ayeka. Apparently Ayeka was in desperate need of a vacation from her duties as a princess and also secretely has a crush on Tenchi.

Episode 3:

Ayeka's younger sister Sasami comes to earth in search of her sister. Her journey takes her as far as Masaki Shrine. The two sisters are reunited at last and begin to catch up on all the happenings of Ayeka. Once again the time to go home draws near but the petty sqaubbles of Ayeka and Ryoko end up destroying Sasami's ship. So now there is a fifth addition to the house with Sasami fortunately unlike the other three ladies she decides to help around the house and cook for Tenchi.

Episode 4:

Legend has it that a demon lives in the cave near Masaki's shrine. Ryoko ties Tenchi up and forces him into the cave. Inside the cave Tenchi is sudeuced by Ryoko. Ayeka though fortunately shows up to stop Ryoko's temptess schemes. Like usual Ryoko and Ayeka get into a fight, Ryoko picks up this giant green stone in the cave and throws it at Ayeka. This awakens the demon inside that takes the form of a yellow glowing ball and decideds to chase the gang all the way outside of the cave. Luckily Grandpa comes along and tells the demon that she's had her fun for the night. The demon takes human form and we learn that it is none other then the famous mad genious Washu. For setting her free she turns Ayeka and Ryoko into duck bill platupusses. Now we have six women living in the Masaki house.

Episode 5:

In this episode the first class detective Kiyone who is Mihoshi's partner is order to go search for Mihoshi on earth were she is expected to be. Kiyone goes to earth and finds out that Mihoshi is infact living. There goes her chance to getting back to the top of the Galaxy Police. Well it doesn't take Kiyone much time to discover that Mihoshi was living with Ryoko. Kiyone and Ryoko get into a heated battle that is cut short thanks to Grandpa who says there is no fighting in this house. Well the time for Mihoshi and Kiyone to go back to headquarters comes. But luckily for Mihoshi and not so much Kiyone they are order to keep an eye on the princess's, Ryoko, and the mad genius Washu. Just when Kiyone thought it was safe to not worry anymore it comes back to bite her on the butt.

Episode 6:

The episode finds Kiyone and Mihoshi living together in a small highly over priced apartment. The only way to pay for this place is to take up part time jobs. The only problem with this is the fact that Mihoshi manages to get both of them fired from their part time jobs on numerous occassions. By the end of the episode the gang pays a visit to Kiyone and Mihoshi, yet again Ryoko and Ayeka have a fight. Well after a session with Kareyoki, at a local spot its off to bed where Kiyone wonders what is she ever going to do with Mihoshi who is so care free.
