Zoids Chaotic Century Episode Sums Episode 1. The Boy from Planet Zi In a desert, a boy called Van, on a hover board, is chased by a Guysack. He spots some ruins and decides to hide there. He manages to climb up onto the top of the ruins, but the Guysack won't leave him alone. The pilot of the Zoid is a jerk who wants to test out his Zoid on Van. After hitting the ruins enough times, they collapse and Van is now left without a place to hide, but the Guysack was trapped under the rubble. Two Command Wolves watch what's going on. The pilots are in the same gang as the pilot of the Guysack. They think that it's stupid to chase a kid, but they don't want the kid to talk about seeing them there. Van, with his hover board now broken, spots an entrance into the ruins which was just uncovered and goes in. The two Command Wolves shoot at the ruins, causing a lot of rubble to fall, and then go to dig out the Guysack. Van's okay though, and he sees another new passageway that was just opened and goes through it. He arrives in a dark room and turns on the lights. In the center of the room are two pods, one big one and the other small. Van goes up to the big one and looks at it. He hits a button that causes it to open, releasing a silver Zoid-like creature. Meanwhile, Van's sister, Maria, is looking for him and she talks to the priest. They talk about how her and Van's father died years ago, how he had a Zoid and Van wants to be a great Zoid pilot like he was, and how if Van did find a Zoid how he'd get it to do what he wanted. The priest thinks it depends on sincere Van would be. The creature that Van released gets up and roars at him. Van wants to be its friend, and the creature hits him with its tail. Van doesn't give up though, and gives the creature a name, Zeke. Zeke was the name of his father's Zoid, and Van wants to be partners with the new Zeke. Zeke's starting to trust Van when the Guysack breaks into the room. The pilot wants to capture Zeke, but Van tries to hold him off by electrocuting the Zoid and yelling for Zeke to run. The Guysack knocks Van to the side and Zeke attacks it, but gets knocked back. The Guysack starts to hurt Zeke, and Van screams for it to stop. Zeke gets thrown against the wall and falls down next to Van. Zeke then gets up and puts Van on his back, and activates his boosters to fly out of the ruins while pushing the Guysack out too. Zeke takes Van to a ruined Shield Liger and shows him that he has to pilot it. Van doesn't know how he's going to pilot a ruined Zoid, and Zeke turns into energy, flies up, and fuses with the Liger. The Shield Liger is healed when Zeke fuses with it. Van is amazed, and so are the pilots of the two Command Wolves. They shoot at Van, but he dodges and leaps into the air, then lands on the Wolves and destroys their weapons. Later, Van is happy that he won his first Zoid battle. Zeke takes him back into the ruins. Van opens the other pod hoping to get another cool Zoid like Zeke, and a girl comes out of it. Episode 2. The Mysterious Fiona Van takes the girl and Zeke back to the Wind Colony to meet his sister. Along the way, Van manages to learn that the girl's name is Fiona, but she doesn't remember much and is very confusing. Van introduces Fiona and Zeke to his sister, Maria, and Maria finds out that Fiona has very good eyesight. Then Van and Fiona go and meet the village elder and the priest, and leave rather quickly. Meanwhile, the bandits that attacked Van earlier plan to steal Zeke, and two of them go off, in Molgas, with Viola, in a Redler, to the Wind Colony. When they get there they shoot at the village and demand that the silver dragon Zoid (Zeke) be brought to them or they will destroy the village. The people of the Wind Colony gather together and Maria tells Viola that the silver Zoid went with Van out of the Colony. The bandits take Maria hostage and appoint the elder and the priest the job of bringing Zeke to them in exchange for Maria. Van and Fiona get to an oasis and Fiona asks Van many annoying questions. Then she sees that smoke is coming from the village. They go back there and find out what happened. The villagers take Zeke, and Fiona stops Zeke from running when Van tells him to, and stop Van from going and fighting the bandits in the Shield Liger. Van is tied up and Fiona watches him, but doesn't help. When Van escapes she just follows him. Van can't figure Fiona out so he gives up. Later, the elder and the priest bring Zeke to Viola. They try to take back Maria when she's going over to the priest and elder, but Zeke stops them. One of the bandits captures Zeke and then Van arrives. He starts to fight the Molgas and the Redler, but he isn't doing that well without Zeke. Fiona prays and somehow wakes Zeke up. Zeke fuses with the Liger and heals all of the damage. Then the Liger proceeds to beat up all of its opponents, forcing them to retreat. Later, Van, Fiona, and Zeke leave to go on a journey. Maria, the priest, and the elder talk about how Zeke has great power that should not fall into the hands of either the Republic or Empire, Van's father died to protect the village, and how Van might be in the position to protect much more than his father. Episode 3. Memory Van and Fiona are lost in the desert without the Shield Liger and Zeke when they come across a black Command Wolf. Fiona gets caught in quicksand and the pilot of the Wolf, Irvine, saves her. Later, they have dinner together and Van tells Irvine about the Liger and Zeke. In the morning, Fiona wakes Van up and tells him that Irvine is gone. They go find the Liger and Zeke and head to some ruins. Zeke runs into a forest there while Van and Fiona look around. They are attacked by a white Gordos with a damaged leg and no pilot. Van and Fiona hide in a trench from the Godos and they can't get to the Liger. They find an underground passage and go through it to another part of the ruins. A fountain is there so they wash off and then explore the ruined building. Van meets up with Zeke, who scares him. They both go find Fiona, who has discovered a diary from the old war. The old diary tells of a soldier and his white Gordos, and how he had to leave his Zoid behind. Then there is an explosion. Van and the others find out that it was caused by the black Command Wolf fighting the Gordos. The Wolf is beating the Gordos when Van, in the Liger, calls Zeke to fuse with his Zoid. Irvine realizes that Zeke is an Organoid and leaves. Van fixes the Gordos' leg as well as he can. Then he picks some fruit and goes to find Fiona. When Van gets to the room she was last in, he disovers that she has gone down some secret stairs. He follows Zeke down and sees Fiona looking at a pillar with strange writing on it. She almost faints and Van catches her. She mutters something about Zoid Eve. Later, Van talks to her about that but she can't remember anything else. Van and Fiona try to leave but Irvine shoots at them with a big gun. He captures Fiona, but Zeke saves her. Van, Fiona, and Zeke run and Irvine keeps shooting at them. Van falls behind and tells the others to keep running. He gets buried under some rubble when Irvine shoots a building and is trapped while Irvine chases Zeke. Fiona and Zeke run through an underground tunnel, only to see a black Command Wolf waiting for them. The white Gordos frees Van from teh rubble so that he can help Fiona and Zeke. Van gets in the Shield Liger and Zeke fuses with it. Irvine and Van fight, and Irvine beats Van. Irvine shoots at Van, but the white Gordos blocks the shot. Irvine retreats and Van thanks the Gordos. He tells it that it's free now and can leave, but the Gordos runs back to the ruins. Van decides to let it do what it wants. Episode 4. The Protectors At night, Fiona tells Van that she can hear water. In the morning, Fiona dumps out all of Van's special protein water because she thought it smelled bad and Van has a fit about it. Van tries to find more water, but collapses. He has a vision of a bunch of little Fionas dumping out water. Fiona snaps him out of the vision by pointing out that there's water nearby. She smelled it. Van dives in and cools off happily. He tells Fiona that water helps him cool off when he's angry. Irvine shows up and tells Van that he's a protector for a nearby village. Van goes there and finds out that bandits have been wreaking havoc in the village. He also learns that there's a lot of aquifers in the area, and a while ago someone took a lot of the water, so it made the ground unstable. Van almost falls into a hole, but Zeke saves him. Irvine says that the bandits are going to attack again today. Van wants to be a protector, but Irvine says that there's only room enough for one protector in the village. Meanwhile, Rosso and Viola and their gang plan to steal Zeke and attack the village at the same time. Van gets mad at Irvine so Fiona dumps water on his head to cool him down. The elder of the village says that Van can be a protector. Then, Zeke senses something. The bandits are coming. Van tries to get Zeke to come with him, but the Organoid jumps into some water and splashes Van. Van yells at Zeke, who ignores him and starts swimming. Zeke gets out when Fiona arrives with the Shield Liger. Irvine gets into his Command Wolf and battles with the bandits. He takes out the Molga first and Van arrives. Van dodges a dive attack from Viola's Redler, which amazes everyone. Irvine runs off so he can let Van take care of everything. He wants to see what Van can do. Viola follows Irvine and Van is surrounded by two Command Wolves and Rosso in his Red Horn. Meanwhile, Irvine is chased by Viola. He tricks her and gets above her. Then he leaps down on top of her Zoid. Van refuses to hand over Zeke and thinks up a plan. He asks Fiona if there's water nearby, and she says there is. Van asks where and she tells him that it's near a big rock. Van runs for the rock and hides behind it. Rosso and the two Command Wolves blow up the rock and then Van fires his last two missiles at the ground where he sees some water. The explosion causes the water to shoot up and crack the ground. Rosso and the Wolves are caught in a huge hole. Rosso manages to get back up and charges at Van, but is shot down by Irvine. Later, Van whines about Irvine stealing the show and Irvine explains that he was just fighting efficiently and leaves saying that he's still after Zeke. Fiona tells Van that Irvine knew he could win without help. Next PageContest Well now that we have a great layout to go with our site, let's hold a contest, I want to see your best anime fan art.
