Zoids Guardian Force Episode Sums

Episode 27. The Great Sea Battle

Rosso and Viola pick up Irvine and Van before they are hit by a charged particle beam from the Death Stinger and take them to the Ultrasaurus, which is out at sea. Fiona and Moonbay greet Van, Irvine, and Zeke when they arrive while Rosso and Viola fly off. Moonbay says that this is her Ultrasaurus. Hermann and many other soldiers welcome Van back. Later at a meeting, Hermann explains that they need to go to an Imperial base to pick up the most powerful (and largest) weapon ever made, the gravity cannon. Then Van and Hermann visit Krueger, who is recovering from injuries and stress, and they talk about how he and Van's father were best friends. Meanwhile, Rudolf arrives at a secret base where the gravity cannon is and meets Dr. D, who has been working on it. Dr. D says that they have only been able to make three shells for the cannon.

A Hammerhead on patrol is caught in an explosion by some icy gas released from the bottom of the sea. At a meeting, it is explained that the icy substance is methane hydrate. It can be lit by fire, so it is also called "fire ice", and then it releases the gas that made the Hammerhead sink. To avoid it, they are going to take a longer but safer route. Then an alarm rings signaling that enemy sinkers are approaching. Everyone gets into Zoids to fight, Van, Irvine, and Thomas in their Zoids, Moonbay taking the controls of her Ultrasaurus, and Karl in his Iron Kong. They all fight the Sinkers and start to destroy them. Meanwhile, the hidden base Dr. D and Rudolf are at is attacked by a bunch of enemy Zoids. They are thinking about abandoning the gravity cannon when Rosso and Viola arrive and destroy all of the enemy Zoids, saving the day once again.

The Death Stinger is detected approaching the Ultrasaurus. All of the Zoids are called back and the Ultrasaurus prepares to dive. They barely manage to get underwater to avoid the charged particle beam from the Death Stinger, which can fire it above water, but not below. Hermann comes up with a crazy plan to go to the place where they found the methane hydrate and use it to fight the Death Stinger. The Death Stinger reaches the Ultrasaurus, shoots it, and then starts to tear through the armor with its claws. Depth charges are released by the Ultrasaurus and they explode on the methane hydrate, which causes icy gas to rise up and explode when it touches both of the Zoids. The Death Stinger is forced away by the explosions and the Ultrasaurus is able to continue on to get the gravity cannon.

Episode 28. The Gravity Cannon

The Ultrasaurus arrives in an area where there are a lot of islands and finds the one where the gravity cannon is ready to be installed onto it. Krueger is taken to Guygalos to recover and rest, and Rudolf arrives. Then everyone looks at the gravity cannon, and are surprised at how huge it is, but they have to equip it on the Ultrasaurus quickly or the enemy will find them. Meanwhile, Hiltz has arrived in the islands and sends lots of Sinkers to find the Ultrasaurus. At a meeting, Dr. D explains how the gravity cannon works. There are two parts to it, the actual gun and the power generators. The shell is made of a very dense material that has its own gravitational field, and will make a "black hole" when it hits its target. The only problem is that there are only three shells, and one must be used for a test shot. Karl is appointed to aim and fire the gravity cannon.

Van, Thomas, and Irvine check on their Zoids. The gravity cannon is linked to the Ultrasaurus. Fiona is worried about the Death Stinger and Dr. D figures that she can sense it because she's an ancient Zoidian. Hermann watches while Van, Irvine, and Thomas take a short nap, but then the cannon is ready for testing so they all wake up. Meanwhile, Raven gets some water and takes it to his house, where Riece, who is sick, is resting. She tries to punch Raven when she wakes up, but Raven stops her. Later, Raven and Riece drink coffee and Raven tells her that her Geno Saurer was beyond help, but Specular is still alive. Riece wants to get back at Hiltz.

Everyone gets ready for the test shot of the gravity cannon. The target points are set and the shell is fired by Karl. It lands on the sea and explodes, making a "black hole" and sucking all the water to the center. The test shot was a success! Karl sees that the shot drifted a little so he'll have to correct that. Then Sinkers approach and Van in a Pteras, Irvine and Thomas in Hammerheads, and some other pilots fight them. They manage to shoot down all of them but two missiles are headed towards the Ultrasaurus. Van manages to shoot the missiles before they hit the Ultrasaurus. Later, Rudolf leaves in a Redler and Riece tells Raven that she's going to go to Zoid Eve and that Shadow will be there.

Episode 29. The Final Battle

Rosso and Viola go to the Ultrasaurus, which is on land now, with Rudolf. They learn that the Ulrasaurus has lost sight of the Death Stinger. They don't know if Hiltz has some more tricks up his sleeve, if he doesn't fear the gravity cannon and is just toying with them, or if he is afraid of the cannon. All they can do is perfect a strategy to fight the Death Stinger. They will use the Delta Formation and then form a electromagnetic shield around the Death Stinger to trap it in one place so it will be hit by the gravity cannon. Van, Irvine, and Thomas will train against a Gojulas. Meanwhile, the Death Stinger destroys another town. The Death Stinger is headed towards Mt. Iselina, so Rosso and Viola leave to save Viola's little sister while Van, Irvine, and Thomas train.

The Death Stinger attacks the secret town on Mt. Iselina. Rosa tries to fight the Death Stinger, but is knocked aside. Then the Storm Sworders arrive, and Rosso fights Hiltz while Viola picks up her sister and two other children. Hiltz fires a charged particle beam and wipes out the village. Van is mad that he wasn't called back from training to help, but Rudolf says that Rosso and Viola promised they would come back. Meanwhile, Raven and Riece stop in a town for water (they are traveling in the Geno Breaker). Raven tells Riece that he doesn't have a right to be angry about the situation because he's destroyed so many bases and stuff, but Riece is angry, though she seems really depressed. Raven says that everything he's done has come back to haunt him.

At a prison, all the cages are opening and everyone is panicing because the Death Stinger is there. Stinger gets help from two scientists (from a previous episode, the one with the three-headed Saber Tiger) to escape from his cage and then meets up with the two Hel Digunner pilots again. They fight for a bit and then run out to see the Death Stinger. They are in a good mood and try to fight it, but lose and the Death Stinger destroys the prison with a charged particle beam. Van and the others figure out that Hiltz is following a path, destroying everything Van did and hoped to do. They figure out where he will be next and go there to fight him.

Later, Van, Thomas, and Irvine confront and fight Hiltz. The Ultrasaurus gets ready to fire the cannon. Van and the others trap the Death Stinger in the electromagnetic shield and the cannon is fired, but the Death Stinger breaks out and fires a beam at the shell, destroying it. Van and the others are knocked down and Hiltz decides to let them live for now, but they are not ready to give up. They try again and manage to trap the Death Stinger one more time, only this time they used more energy. The last shell is fired from the gravity cannon and this time the Death Stinger can't break out. Van and the others run to avoid being crushed by the blast, and the Death Stinger breaks free right before the shell hits it. At the last moment, the Death Stinger fires one last charged particle beam and hits the back leg of the Dibison. Thomas is knocked out as the blast gets closer to him.

There are 4 more episodes of Guardian Force left however they have not yet been aired on American Televison hopefully with this latest run they will air the last four episodes of Guardian Force
